This is my first short movie. After reading several manuals about “making a movie” I’ve decided to make my own short movie. So, it’s not really about the substance, but more about the technique.
I wanted to make a movie along with my wife and two cousins, because it was difficult to find amateur actors and actresses. They have never been on camera before and I had never directed and edited a movie before. We had a lot of fun while making this movie.
The role of Freddy Potter and the dead victim was played by my younger cousins (11 and 13 years old).
The title of the movie is based on Harry Potter and Freddy Kruger.

This is an experimental project in after effects. I’m not sure what my ultimate goal was with this way of special effects, but my two darling kids want to see it over and over again every time they see it.

So, what ever the goal was, here in our house it is a big succes

My father and his shepherd’s pipe

Me and my two darling kids went to visit my father in Turkey. My father was so happy and excited that he took his shepherds pipe and played a spontaneous melody for his grandchildren. I didn’t want to lose this moment, took directly my camera and start shooting. My kids are older now. My daughter started at school recently and the baby you see in the movie is now a tall toddler.
